The Vice President of Human Resource will be responsible for all HR areas within Synergis Education (the Company). In conjunction with the Company’s PEO, and existing HR staff that is tasked with enhancing an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and achievable standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR Department and report directly into the Chief of Staff
  • As a leader of a small team, perform tactical duties across many HR Functional areas
  • Handle highly confidential, sensitive and/or critical information, files, records, and reports
  • Serve as a backup resource to process payroll, hiring, new hires orientations, performance management and terminations
  • Review current PEO relationship for strategic and financial opportunities to improve outcomes relative to cost
  • Develop and document SOP’s for this position to ensure repeatable and scalable processes
  • Assist Executive and Senior Leadership Team in Organizational Development initiatives to further standardize and scale staff in line with strategic growth initiatives
  • Work with the CIO in the implementation of internal HRIS system, while ensuring integration to existing PEO systems

Education/Experience

Master’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; SHRM certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mesa, AZ 85210: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 5 years (Required)
  • working in human resources: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (Preferred)

Work Location: One location
