What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Technician position at Synergy Solutions?
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Installing Linux OS and or Windows OS
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution
- Perform software troubleshooting and provide guidance to users on software usage
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate records of IT assets
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, switches, etc.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide step-by-step guidance
