Job Description
SUMMARY: Read blueprints and drawings, take measurements, plan layouts and procedures, determine welding equipment and methods based on requirements, set-up components to specifications, prepare and align parts for welding, use specialized equipment for cutting and welding various metals.

- Bead Blast
- Silver Solder
- Acetylene Torch
- Spray Harden Technique
Other Essential Skills & Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Read a Tape Measure, Combination Square and Scribe
- Operate Data Collection Terminal
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a Welding Certification or have completed 2 years of vocational or on-the-job training in various welding methods and techniques
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong track record of job performance and attendance
