Description
This position will carry out established programs, policies, and procedures to support Syracuse Area Health’s Cardiac Rehab, Stress Lab, and Specialty Clinic functions. This position will carry out clinical education to ensure consistent optimal outcomes and quality of care and service, as well as provide direct patient care to outpatients.
This position is non-benefit eligible, working approximately 16-20 hours per week, weekdays. No weekends or holidays!
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed in the State of Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience required in areas of or a combination of acute care, wound care, infusion therapy, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated patient teaching capabilities and experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Coronary care training or prior experience in Cardiac Rehab preferred
- Strong knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation preferred
