Job Description
To assist the head coach in all aspects of running the cross country and track program. The position will assist with organization of practices, recruiting, individual runner development, and video analysis. Primary purpose of this position will be developing our distance runners.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, and at least 3- 5 years of collegiate coaching or playing at high level required.

Job Specific Qualifications
Significant track coaching experience preferred. At least 3-5 years of coaching or competing professionally at a high level.

Responsibilities
  • Development of team practices in conjunction with the head coach. Assisting with the strength and conditioning program.
  • Coordinate distance recruiting and evaluating recruits. Scheduling official and unofficial visits as well as coaching staff travel to evaluate athletes.
  • Oversee team equipment. This includes our Nike clothing and shoes.
  • Assist with team travel. This includes setting up hotels, flights, itineraries, practices and meals.
  • Follow up on academic support issues for the team.
  • Other position related duties as assigned
