System One has partnered with a growing company in Union, New Jersey in their search for an Audit Manager. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the audit process.

- Manage the execution of external audits for various clients.
- Oversee management of the budget resourcing strategy and billing and collections.
- Make Partners aware of any significant audit findings and assist in review.
- Maintain working knowledge of accounting literature, trends, and technical issues relevant to clients' industries.
- Build and manage client relationships and accounts; maintaining steady contact with clients throughout the year.
- Coordinate various phases of an engagement including staff requirements, job planning, and scheduling.
- Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years of recent supervisory audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and active CPA licensure required.
- Applied working knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB auditing standards required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have experience working in Quickbooks and auditing software including CaseWare Working Papers.
- Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
