System One is working with a great company located at the Port of Catoosa that is seeking a staff/senior bookkeeper. In this role, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of our company by managing the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. As a Bookkeeper, you will also provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of financial information.

In this role, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of our company by managing the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. As a Bookkeeper, you will also provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of financial information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and validate financial information
- Provide support to the finance team in day-to-day operations and special projects
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a senior position
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
