Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • GL rewrite and integration of our Payroll data into the new IFS GL
    • Reduce number of systems that need to house this data
    • Reduce compliance risk by eliminating manual intervention of data
    • Reduce TAT and FTE responsibilities
    • Higher accuracy in reporting
  • ESOP Process/File Rewrite
    • Eliminate audit and compliance risk
    • Accurate reporting
    • Reduce TAT and FTE responsibilities
  • Implement delivered PeopleSoft functionality eCompensation/Comp module
    • Eliminate the need to export data from one system into another to manually manipulate
  • Implement delivered PeopleSoft functionality: Shift/Flex Differential
    • Automate adding\removing these differentials as employees change their status
      • Reduce overpayments
      • Eliminate manual intervention reducing TAT and FTE responsibilities
  • Implement delivered PeopleSoft functionality for Primary/Secondary Jobs
    • Eliminate the need for Co-Branded Drivers
    • Allow for multiple pay rates, sal plans, etc.
    • Eliminate the need for Job Earnings Distribution process
    • More accurate reporting of hours worked
    • Streamlines internal HR processes to reduce the amount of manual intervention
  • Create and launch MSS Reports via Manager Dashboard
    • Empower managers with various payroll reports to easily track PTO, unexcused absences, overtime hours, etc.
  • SOC Reporting Codes Project
    • Beginning (DATE?? Ask Tracy) we are required to report individual state SOC codes
    • This requires IT work as they currently use this field to determine if a driver is DOT or Non-DOT
    • One-time project
  • State Specific Work Comp Codes on Job Code Table
    • New State regulations require employers to use a different Workers Compensation Class Code for any remote workers
    • Oracle doesn’t provide a resolution for this so in order to NOT create hundreds of job codes, we’d like to create a process that will assign the Workers Comp Class Code based upon the state linked to the Location table. This would eliminate the need to create and maintain state specific job codes for all remote positions
  • Update Existing and Create New Queries/Reports for HR/Payroll needs
    • During our Tools Upgrade last year, we found that many queries that are still used today are outdated or inaccurate. To better assist our users and reduce the daily data requests, I’d like to look at updating existing and creating new queries based upon need by our current users.
    • This would not only reduce the amount of hours HRIS spends pulling data for various areas, it would increase the accuracy of said data as well as enhance efficiencies
  • Transaction Workflow approvals, notifications and other delivered functionality to clean up existing processes and manual intervention
    • Eliminate Weekly “Transaction File”
    • Create an audit trail of systematic approvals allowing users to comment and add attachments
    • Enhance ability to provide supporting documentation during SOX audit
  • Implement delivered PeopleSoft Garnishments process
  • Implement delivered PeopleSoft Absence Management module and processes
    • Utilize delivered PTO functionality
      • Real-time balances
      • Timely monthly accruals
      • Accurate reporting
    • Utilize FMLA and Leave Tracking
      • Gain compliancy in Intermittent FMLA Tracking
      • Ability to determine Absence issues
  • System Maintenance and Updates
    • Install newest Image and apply all past Image fixes as well
    • Once up-to-date on Image, follow schedule of PS Image Releases (I believe now 3x’s per year) which will include all tax updates
    • Summer 2025 Tools 8.60 Upgrade
    • Complete Disaster Recovery server build and deployment
    • Quarterly Critical Security Patches
  • Enhancement of Performance Management Custom Process
    • Allow for movement of employees without manual intervention
    • Allow for reopening and push-back of evals without manual intervention
    • Allow 2nd Level Mgr Comments
    • Create a process to move historical evaluations with the EE when they move throughout the organization.
      • This would allow the manager visibility they don’t currently have
  • iCIMS to HRPS Interface Enhancements and Fixes
    • Add logic to create salary fail safes to reduce pay errors and audit compliance concern
  • HRPS to iCIMS Interface Enhancements and Fixes
  • HRPS Position feed into iCIMS
  • Current custom Safety Page needs fixes and security enhancements
  • Benefits issues/fixes
  • Payroll issues/fixes
