Site RAMS Manager :
- Manage the RAMS activities in accordance with QCD ( quality cost delivery ) commitments for the projects / programs allocated to the Site.
- Ensure the deployment of Corporate QMS and corresponding RAM & Safety-related engineering instructions on the Site.
- Support products performance by ensuring RAMS requirements are identified upstream allowing to : enhance their capability to meet the expected reliability targets and reach an acceptable level of risks as per the Corporate Safety policy.
- Manage RAMS Team (several RAMS engineers ) and RAMS related workload on site
- Implement an organization to ensure the proper management of the RAMS activities for the tenders/projects/programs executed by the Site.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement by ensuring that application of the RAMS process and tools will enhance the re-use of the studies and optimize the amount of engineering hours spent on projects.
- Support the other stakeholders (design, industrial, sourcing, validation etc..) in the understanding of the RAMS processes and actions with regards to the interfaces in between the teams.
- Ensure the reliability and safety design reviews are prepared and documented on schedule and follow-up about the important open actions.
- Report on the progress of the Site RAMS activities and alert the management in case of any issues potentially impacting the achievement of the QCD commitments.
- Provide feedback to Central Engineering about the application of the RAM & Safety processes
Qualifications :
- BS or MS degree ( Engineering disciplines : electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering / computer science, etc. )
- Previous experience in RAM / RAMS ( Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) / Product Safety Assurance capacities
- Ideally engineering experience with railway signaling (wayside or carborne) , railroad rolling stock or LRV - light rail vehicles
- Proven managerial / supervisory skills and experience ( project management, team management, conflict management, etc. )
