Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Code and process incoming oil and gas receipts.
- Prepare and submit federal, state, and tribal royalty reports as necessary.
- Prepare and submit state and tribal severance tax reports, including coding check requests for tax payments.
- Complete annual escheat reporting.
- Prepare and record quarterly oil and gas revenue accruals.
- Prepare and book quarterly Depreciation, Depletion, and Amortization (DD&A) expense estimates and perform year-end DD&A calculations.
- Reconcile revenue-related general ledger accounts monthly, including oil and gas receivables, royalty payables, and federal/state/tribal payables.
- Maintain monthly payout reports as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 7 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex operational information clearly.
- Proficiency in OGsys accounting software (preferably On Demand version), and EnergyLink.
- Offering $90K DOE
