What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Mechanical Designer position at System One?
System One has partnered with a wonderful client located in the Greenspoint area who is seeking a confident and skilled Mechanical Designer!
Responsibilities:
-Create and design new products and assemblies using SolidWorks 3D CAD software based on customer requirements, concepts, or drawings.
Requirements:
-5 years' experience as a Mechanical Designer using SolidWorks
-Inventor and/or AutoCAD knowledge is a plus!
-Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
-Experience with designing and creating sketches/drawings for machined/fabricated components, hydraulic/electrical schematics, and component general arrangement assemblies.
Compensation: ~~$36-39/hr depending on experience
Contract to Hire role
No remote work available at this time. This is an in-office assignment.
