What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Mechanic or Installation Technician - Up to $37/hr+Sign On Bonus position at Systematic Business Consulting?
One of the world’s largest producers of engineered lifting solutions, is looking to add a Field Crane Technician to their growing team of Professionals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, & MEGA-TRACK system.
• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Reads, understands, and interprets operating/parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper
operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
• Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
• Provides excellent customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician required.
• Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European
Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
• Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites (3-5 nights overnight per month), and for training as required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required
