What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT LEAD position at Systems Control?
Overview: As Continuous Improvement Lead, you will drive continuous improvement efforts throughout our manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Lean strategy to support business objectives
- Lead and coach other leaders in Kaizen Events and improvement projects
- Follow up with leaders post-event to ensure improvements are sustained
- Provide Lean training and mentoring for employees at all levels of organization with a focus on operations leaders
- Assist with new process introductions: process change implementation, new equipment and/or processes from Quality/Safety/Lean/CI drivers
- Improve Visual Management throughout the organization
- Lead and participate in Problem Solving activities
- Assist with training and implementation of “MyIDEA” System
- Participate in relevant conferences and seminars through attendance and review of presentations
- Ability to travel to other facilities
Qualifications: EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or Associates with relevant work experience
- Formal Lean training/certification desired
- Minimum of five to seven years of hands-on Lean experience in a discrete manufacturing environment
- Previous team leadership experience preferred

- Strong understanding of Lean principles and practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- High level of Emotional Intelligence
- Must be a team player while having the ability to work both independently and in partnership with others
- Ability to lead and teach others
- Strong computer skills
