Marketing Coordinator

The Project Specialist is responsible for the timely delivery of marketing projects. Serving as a neutral party to the marketing department, the Project Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally to develop comprehensive campaign project timeline strategies by channel. The Project Specialist will act as the single person touching every step from planning, to execution and release; enabling them to foresee setbacks and will lead through effective communication and collaboration. Projects supported may include, Direct Mail, Email, Digital, Social, Brand and grassroots marketing on both a local and national level.
The Role You'll Play:

• Manage the operational processes of production projects relating to assigned campaigns, categories or promotions. Manage, communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external partners while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Develop and maintain project scheduling, reporting, and tracking documentation. Anticipate potential schedule or deadline problems. Recommend solutions and communicate to appropriate business partners. The Project Specialist will work closely with the Project Manager to develop project timing strategies, and the Creative, Content and Planning teams to ensure smooth and continuous workflow of production processes and on-time delivery of all projects, as to not impact budgets.
• Expert in Workfront Management Software. Primary user of the marketing department's workflow and soft-proofing project management system. Responsible for building and maintaining all outbound, customer-facing marketing projects in the system. Ensure all steps are completed and project assets are being updated accordingly.
• Prepare for and coordinate cross-functional internal project meetings.
• Staying current and relevant in product categories and business by aligning and collaborating with internal business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experienced preferred
• Three to five years of experience
• Project coordination with familiarity with project management workflow systems
• Project management with knowledge of project management software
• Detail oriented, excellent organization skills, and an outstanding ability to ensure delivery of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment on time
• Team player, ability to be proactive, results oriented
• Experience in marketing/advertising projects in a retail environment preferred. Account, production management or agency experienced a plus.
• Ability to create, maintain and manage project schedules
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Customer service-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• High level of ability and comfort level to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of personnel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
