Summary of Position:

The Brand Ambassador is responsible for hosting in-store demo's & brand events on behalf of Coast Cannabis. The role will include working with the Marketing Department to ensure demo's are staffed appropriately, engaging, educational & fun for all dispensary staff & customers. This person is expected to be self-motivated, personable, confident, enthusiastic about cannabis, well versed in all things Coast, organized, & own the success of their role representing the Coast Brand in Massachusetts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent the Coast Brand at pop ups & other events solo. (occasionally with other team members)
• Ability to work independently & be on time.
• Work with the Marketing Department to identify successful and/or less than successful pop ups. (slow, less than engaged customers or staff, not cooperative with displays)
• Help execute marketing plans & display set ups in store to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Work with the Field Marketing Manager to identify positive & negative feedback from your time in the field to help grow & improve the brand as a whole.
• Must be able to stand & talk with others for up to 4 hours at a time. *MUST have night and weekend availability*
• Maintain records of all interactions with retailers in Hubspot every work day.
• Have a backstock & keep inventory of educational materials to pass out/leave behind/provide to staff & customers at EVERY pop up.
• Have a backstock & keep inventory of all uninfused samples, pop up materials & display materials.
• Attend networking events on behalf of COAST.
• Meet with Field Marketing Manager 1x per month for restock & catch up.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Education & Experience:

• College degree in Marketing and/or Communications preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
• Prior Brand Ambassador experience.
• Highly self motivated and ready to work in a startup environment
• Drivers license, a clean driving record, and a car are required

Skills:

Understanding of Cannabis and cannabis products.

Computer proficiency, email and associated programs.

• Use Google suite (sheets, slides, docs)
• HubSpot including the app

Public speaking and presentation techniques

Physical and Time Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation and car space for items such as training and pop up materials, display packaging, etc.
• Must be able to travel every work day.
• Weekend/ Nights Availability. (Tuesday - Saturday)
• Lifting and moving cases (~25 lbs.) of product, 4ft / 6ft folding table and other demo material.
• Must be able to stand and talk with others for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Schedule subject to change.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
