About the Job:
As part of the largest quick-service restaurant company in the world, Taco Bell is an industry leader in building new restaurants across the globe. As the brand continues to grow, Taco Bell is looking for a Market Planning Coordinator to join the Market Planning team in Development. The Market Planning team is responsible for working with field real estate teams, franchisees, and data partners to establish, communicate, and execute Taco Bell’s strategic roadmap for new restaurant growth. The Market Planning team is also responsible for working with brand leadership and cross-functional partners on strategic projects involving data mining, geospatial analytics, and demographic analysis.
The Market Planning team is a dynamic point of entry into the Taco Bell organization, often serving as a launching point for various parts of the Taco Bell and Yum businesses. This position is ideal for individuals with high accountability, strong organizational skills, great communication style, a partnership mentality, and attention to detail. The primary responsibility of the Market Planning Coordinator is to support restaurant unit growth for Taco Bell. In addition, the individual will be responsible for the organization and management of projects supporting the Field Development team.
The Day-to-Day:
- Support Field Development teams to prioritize trade area opportunities and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Analyze mass mobile data to understand optimal spacing for new development
- Track sales forecasts and impact projections to compare versus actual results
- Partner with the Field Development team to create a development strategy and site ride presentations
- Build know-how on Taco Bell’s development policy to provide backup support on projects
Is This You?
- BA degree required; 2 years of relevant work experience
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
- Resourceful nature, with strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must

Salary Range: $61,400 to $83,685 annually bonus eligibility benefits
