Job Description
Taco Bell is looking for a Data Analyst / Report Developer to add to our highly collaborative and innovative Data and Analytics Team. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop dashboards, visualizations, metrics, and reports & provide support to our cross functional partners in Marketing, Operations and Finance for our Customer360 data product.
This position is the subject matter expert for Taco Bell’s Customer360 Reporting solution. The person must be able to work at a detail level, when needed, to identify issues, risks, root causes, develop mitigation strategies and solutions, and identify and track actions to closure.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain self-service analytical models for Customer Data Platform
- Build reporting and interactive analytics content such as dynamic dashboards, scorecards, reports and advanced visualizations using Power BI.
- Develop physical and logical data models/data relationships required to facilitate report/dashboard generation.
- Build report schema layers such as attributes, key metrics, filters, user prompts, datasets for analytics content.
- Create and maintain SQL queries for report data validation and performance optimization.
- Set up automated schedules for report delivery and distribution via email, shared location etc.
- Assist in production deployment and change management process for report migration.
- Understand business requirements and be able to convert them into respective visualizations and interactive dashboards.
- Analyze various complex data from multiple data sources and be able to interpret data while developing reports/dashboards.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in a data analyst/report developer role.
- 4 Hands on experience in designing and developing dashboards, reports, advanced visualizations using PowerBI
- Proven solid experience in designing and developing report schema and application layer – attributes, complex metrics, filters, drill maps, hierarchies, user prompts, schedules etc.
- Strong experience in Customer Data story telling capability preferably using PowerBI
- Familiarity with impact assessment and valuation models (ROI, break even, scenario planning, A/B testing, Closed loop reporting, Return on Ad Spend) a plus
- High Proficiency with SQL & SQL optimization techniques
- Experience working with data warehouses, relational databases - AWS Redshift preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as part of the team.
- Be flexible, quick learner and be able to keep up with fast changing business model
- Relevant industry experience in retail/QSR is a plus.
- Exposure to AWS cloud platform is a plus.
Required Technical Skills
- High Proficiency with PowerBI
- Experience in implementing mobile app version of reports and dashboards in tablets and phones
- Experience with Reporting and Visualization tools such as Amazon QuickSight
Nice to haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with natural language processing and assisted learning techniques using Machine Learning
- Familiarity with backend infrastructure and data pipelines and workflows
- Familiarity with third party CDP’s such as Amperity, mParticle
