Position Summary:
The Access Imaging Services Representative is responsible for the receiving of patients, coordination and/or completion of the admission process. This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with sympathy, respect and understanding. Contacts include patients, families and referring physicians and their office staff.
Minimum Requirements:
One year previous experience in a clerical position, medical setting preferred with medical insurance(s)
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred
Medical Terminology certification preferred
Compensation Range:
AD - Min: $16.65-Max: $91.75
Salary : $17 - $92
