Talent Acquisition Specialist

Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 DOE
Position Summary
The ideal applicant for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and will provide support in recruitment, use of our ATS, and day-to-day Talent Acquisition (TA) functions within the assigned operational location. This position will partner with the HR team to determine and address general HR needs, increase employee engagement, and to hire the best talent for Tactical Air. The TA's responsibilities are varied and require a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgement, and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the staffing of exempt and non-exempt, technical and non-technical positions and reduce recruitment turnaround time to ensure timely placement of applicants for open positions.
- Develop relationships with hiring managers to determine appropriate hiring needs to fill their requisition(s).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to write, review and edit job descriptions, assist with using our ATS.
- Identify, attract, engage, qualify potential applicants and keep each interested in Tactical Air Support.
- Escort site interviewing applicants at the Cecil hangar.
- Participate in virtual and site interviews.
- Coordinates interviews between the hiring managers and potential applicants.
- Advances applicants through the Interview process, or dispositions/archives per hiring managers evaluation using our ATS.
- Ensures compliance with the laws and regulations as it relates to online sourcing, staffing, and hiring practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of prior experience as a Recruiter; 5 years of relevant and applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Four years of proven recruitment experience in a DoD, military or aircraft industry.
- Strong experience using an Applicant Tracking System (isolved preferred!).
- Experienced with Microsoft (Outlook, Office 365, Teams Meeting).
- Ensures compliance to all employment laws, regulations and company policies that impact the hiring and selection process: EEO, OFCCP, AAP, ADA, etc.
- Must be able to perform this job with independence but in collaboration with entire HR team.
- Ability to work in a face paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail is a must!
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and projects simultaneously.
- Develop working relationships with the community, employees, managers, leaders, and customers that we provide talent solutions for.
- Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be required.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification advantageous.
Work Authorization and Environment
- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
- Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) required.
- Specific work hours determined by operational, departmental, or contractual requirements.
- Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
