Job Posting for Manager Engineering at Tactile Medical
Overview
This person will be responsible for people and technical leadership for sustaining and new product integration. They will proactively identify, scope, and lead medium- to long-term Tactile product and product development initiatives related to sustaining and new product development. They will also provide subject matter expertise to influence and inform planning for engineering-related objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage engineering team members through individual goals and objectives
Establish individual development goals for engineering reports by aligning Operation's goals and objectives with team members strengths and goals
Own development, maintenance, and execution of technology, product, and/or continuation roadmap
Actively communicate status of ongoing and upcoming deliverables
Ownership of CAPAs to drive system and quality improvements
Ownership of functional, high-level objectives within operations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline
5 years working in an operations, process development, or product engineering role
Project ownership
Preferred:
Medical device manufacturing and design experience
People leadership
Previous financial operations responsibilities
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.)
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate concepts
Ability to work cross-functionally to solve technical problems
Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines
Ability to make timely decisions based on stakeholder input and engineering fundamentals
Organization and prioritization skills – adaptable to changing business needs and adept at juggling numerous

Below is the salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate’s location, job-specific knowledge, skills, and experience.
$98,500 - $182,900
