Job Overview - Pharmacy Technician:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire position in Jackson, MI. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience who possesses a "can do" attitude.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Location: Jackson, MI
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday. No nights and no Sundays.
Responsibilities as the Pharmacy Technician:
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment to prepare the pharmacy each day.
- Accurately measure dosages and select the correct medication to fill prescriptions.
- Sort, stock, label medication, and manage pharmacy inventory levels.
- Perform tasks such as record-keeping and other pharmacy related administrative functions as required.
- Adhere to all security measures and quality standards set by the pharmacy and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:
- Must be a certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and excellent communication skills.
- Must have full-time availability and be able to commit to the specified hours.
