What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tailor/Seamstress position at Tailored Fit LLC?
Seeking an experienced Tailor or Seamstress to work in a fast pace retail environment. This candidate will provide professional custom fittings & consultation to clients looking for a distinct style. This role will also require an in-depth skillset around sewing and clothing alterations. Job duties will require working directly with customers for alterations on men's and women's clothing garments. (Primarily suits and formal wear).
DUTIES:
- Measure customers for size
- Fit garments on customer
- Consult with customer for desired fit, style, trend
- Cut/Sew/Steam Press clothing items in timely manner for daily pick-ups
Prefered Qualifications:
- 2 Years of sewing/alteration/tailoring experience (We will also train)
- Experience with garment fitting, chalking, pinning, measuring (Formal attire is a PLUS)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Flexible with Scheduling
SALARY TIPS will Commesurate with Experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
