Join us as a Global Market Insights Lead, Rare, Genetic & Hematology at the Senior Manager level. The Global Insights & Analytics Team is part of the Global Product and Launch Excellence team at Takeda. The Global Market Insights Lead, Rare, Genetic & Hematology will be empowered to support the Rare, Genetic & Hematology Global Product Teams (GPTs) to frame business problems into primary & secondary market research and competitive intelligence solutions. How you will contribute:
Develop and integrate primary market research and competitive intelligence within R&D, marketing, sales and payer areas, including foundational strategic research (e.g. market landscape / patient journey, segmentation / brand positioning / messaging, market access landscape) and assist commercial teams in development of new product TPPs and strategic plans for growth brands
Enable commercial assessment of lifecycle management strategies for new products and growth brands
Lead projects that deliver high quality, actionable business insights to Brand Teams and Global Program Teams (GPTs)
Act as strategic partner to Global Product Team (GPT) members in the Rare, Genetic & Hematology Franchise working on global brands and pipeline products with Global Commercial Leads, New Products Leads, Market Access Leads, and other cross-functional GPT members
Design and deliver market research and competitive intelligence projects that support the growth of key global brands and successful launch of pipeline assets
Aid development of commercial strategies through market research, competitive intelligence and other sources of insights to support new product commercial preparedness and lifecycle management strategies
Own the key business questions for the asset/ brand and help the team prioritize their focus and resources based on the needs of the program
Lead development of the insights plan in collaboration with your cross-functional stakeholders and consider the use of innovative approaches to help answer key business questions
Lead global competitive intelligence efforts for Rare, Genetic & Hematology products/diseases, including current in-line diseases as well as diseases with pipeline assets or as part of commercial assessment
Collaborate closely with US and other regional colleagues to ensure insights plan is aligned with regional activities
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
BA/BS in science or business required
Generally, 5 years of experience in a commercial capacity within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or life science or strategy consulting experience
Candidate should have a successful track record functioning in a matrix environment and delivering results in the areas of market research (required) and competitive intelligence (preferred)
Willingness to travel to various meetings/conferences including international travel is required
Proven stakeholder management skills and an effective team player with influence in a cross-functional environment outside of immediate reporting lines
High emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with different personality types
Ability to be flexible in a highly dynamic environment with changing needs
