Global Manufacturing & Supply and Global Quality (GMSGQ) is the backbone of Takeda. We strive to ensure that our medicines are made available wherever our patients are. Takeda Round Lake is part of Takeda's Plasma Network. The facility specializes in producing Flexbumin through the GALAXY manufacturing process and plastic flexible container system.
How you will contribute:Be a member of our Site Leadership Team (SLT) with a focus on providing an exceptional workplace experience, driving organizational and leadership development and leading change programs.
Develop and implement a People Strategy following the Site Strategy and the Plasma OPU & GMSGQ HR Strategy & People Priorities.
Deploy progressive employment practices to attract, develop and retain diverse top talent at all levels.
Establish an external presence to position the Takeda Round Lake site as an Employer of Choice.
Track people metrics (turnover, internal mobility, talent attraction) to identify trends; recommend and implement solutions to address trends.
Lead engagement efforts through analysis of employee experience survey results and partner with leaders to address areas of focus based on the feedback.
Lead cyclical people processes including talent reviews, succession planning, performance reviews, and compensation planning.
Establish forward-looking strategic workforce plans and develop a talent pipeline for important roles.
Partner with the People Advisory Group, and Centers of Excellence (COE) to deploy and embed the respective people agenda in organization effectiveness, lifelong learning, talent management and development, and talent acquisition.
In partnership with employee relations support employees and managers on employment issues. This includes conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, investigations, and general counseling. Mitigate risk for Takeda, ensure objectivity, consistency, and compliance.
Embed a Performance Culture by ensuring all employees participate in ongoing Quality Conversations with people leaders.
Partner with the Senior Leadership team to translate business need to strategy and ensure agreement to Takeda's mission.
Partner with the Site Head and Senior Leadership team to lead organizational structures to promote partnerships with important functions.
Lead change management efforts in partnership with the Senior Leadership team.
Assess the effectiveness of our business model and organization dynamics and lead efforts to realign/refocus.
Provide executive development to senior leaders.
Develop and support the onsite HR Business Partners.
Participate in Global HR projects.
Bachelor's degree in an HR discipline or related field required.
10 years of HR experience, with 7 in a management role.
Pharma, Biotech, or complex manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Ability in influencing leaders to establish trust, credibility, and drive change.
Skilled in developing HR and DE&I initiatives and aligning people practices in support business objectives.
Commercial awareness and strategic approach.
Help define, translate, and execute an organization's strategy.
Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices, and policies.
Manage and resolve conflict.

At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:
In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.
Indoor working conditions.
General office environment.
May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.
May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
Must be able to work hours necessary to support a 24/7 operation.
