As an IT Business Partner - Medical Affairs & Commercial working on Partners with the Global VBU Commercial and Medical Affairs teams as well as with various Global IT, you will be empowered to drive and lead the overall IT and Digital Technology strategy and agenda supporting the Global Vaccines BU. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission. A typical day will include:
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Partners with the Global VBU Commercial and Medical Affairs teams as well as with various Global IT teams to drive and lead the overall IT and Digital Technology strategy and agenda supporting the Global Vaccines BU, aligned with Takeda’s overall Data and Digital strategies.
Lead the development and execution of a technology roadmap that amplifies the current vaccines portfolio as well as enables best-in-class launches of new vaccines be a strategic thought partner to business leadership by understanding strategic goals and providing direction on where technology can and should enable those goals.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Serve as the primary point of contact to the Global VBU Commercial and Medical Affairs organization from IT, aligning Its strategy to business outcomes and accountable for program delivery.
Ensure that IT products and services are fully available in an effective an efficient manner for your Global VBU teams to deliver on their projects and priorities. Provide feedback to improve service quality and adoption.
Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Regional and Local IT Business Partners responsible for consistently executing on globally driven vaccines strategies
Explore the ecosystem (internal, external) identifying current and emerging trends and technology to inject new insights for specific digital use cases.
Drive the transformation and adoption of Agile delivery and Product-based IT operating model.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
• Bachelor's Degree is required; Graduate degree in relevant field is desired.
• 15 years of experience in Information Technology, 10 yrs strong focus on Digital.
•Proven competences in stakeholder alignment, business need analysis, customer focus, and result focus, delivery, and people management.
•Understand digital technologies and their potential application and translate those into business opportunities, cases, needs, and implementation roadmaps.
•Prior experience working with and managing third-party service providers preferred.
•Experience directly & routinely interacting with a business unit's Senior Executives and/or VPs.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to building trust, listen, and ask effective questions.
•Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve end user’s experience.
•Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results.
•Understands the pharmaceutical market including role of providers, patients, payers, distributors, and policy makers.
•Understands internal pharmaceutical teams responsible for engaging key opinion leaders and/or medical experts, community providers, patients, payers, distributors, and government policy makers.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Access to transportation to attend meetings.
Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally.
