You will work alongside multiple development teams to deliver robust digital solutions. You will also be required to work with TAL’s UX design teams.Your primary role is to contribute to the design and development of high quality solutions meeting the needs of customers and other stakeholders of the Retail Platform.  You will be responsible for the analysis, development and delivery of applications in .NET languages and front end frameworks including C#, ASP.NET, React and AngularJS in Client Server and n-tier applications using a number of established patterns and practices at presentation, application and data layers. You will also contribute to the strong culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement and innovation by proactively identifying and driving continous improvement in your own practises and those of the team. In this role you will be responsible for:Architecting the front-end solution for a variety of projects including CMS implementations, HTML template development and tools.Acting as the conduit between business, technology and creativeDelivering solutions to complex problems and produce high quality codeCollaborating with development and design teamsQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:Hands on development experience specialising in Front EndAdvanced knowledge and literacy in HTML and CSS/SASSIn depth knowledge of C# and JavaScript (ES5, ES6 and jQuery)In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET, AngularJS (1.6 ), React, npm and component-based architectureExperience developing robust Restful APIs using .NET CoreAbility to create and maintain stored procedures in SQL Server and other databasesExperience with Responsive design and Cross-browser compatibilityExperience with web content management systems (i.e. Sitecore)Experience working with CI/CD toolsets including TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, & Azure DevopsExperience working with Cloud platforms particularly AzureWorking experience with a JavaScript mv* framework, like Angular JSWorking experience with the Bootstrap frameworkWorking experience with frontend project environment setup and configuration (Webpack/Rollup, Gulp/Grunt)History of Test-driven development SkillsAdditional InformationAt TAL we value diversity in all its forms and are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable culture for all our people.
