Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and materials handling, with a focus on crane operations in various warehouses or more specially steel industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifting activities
- Inspect rigging equipment and attachments for wear and tear
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in crane operation, preferably in warehouse environments
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues that may arise during operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work the scheduled hours of 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with Overtime on Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
