We are seeking an experienced OTC SD Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP SD module configuration within a project environment. In-depth knowledge of sales orders, pricing, delivery, invoicing, and integration with MM, PP, and finance is required. Strong configuration skills and a basic understanding of TM (shipping and transportation) are also desirable, particularly for support purposes. Any experience in the A&D (Aerospace and Defense) domain will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on system configuration, ensuring the SD module is properly set up according to project requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise within the SD module and provide recommendations for effective solutions.
- Design solutions for small enhancements, develop functional specifications, configure the system, and create and execute functional and integration test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integrations between SD and other modules or systems.
- Work as part of a global team, including coordinating with offshore Development Team during the build and test phases of projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SD Consultant, specifically in SAP SD module configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of sales orders, pricing procedures, delivery processes, invoicing, and integration with MM, PP, and finance modules.
- Strong configuration skills in SAP SD, with the ability to set up and customize the module as per project requirements.
- Basic knowledge of TM (Transportation Management) for support purposes.
- Experience in the A&D domain is considered an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work with global teams and accommodate different time zones if required.
