Position Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of a Corporate Purchasing team.
Lead a team of buyers to ensure distribution centers are always in stock, fulfilling branch needs at a high service level.
Identify changing sales trends and collaborate with Demand Planning team to attain forecast accuracy.
Partner with Product Management team to solve vendor issues, vendor changes and potential product additions.
Establish strong working relationships with key vendors.
Recruit, retain, motivate, and mentor Purchasing staff to achieve purchasing goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving skills.
