Position:Nurse - RN
Location:Noel, MO
Duration:2 months, but this is a temp. to hire opportunity
Shift Hours:7pm-3am Monday to Friday, some Saturdays might be needed.
Job Description:
- This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; performing required health assessments for specified programs; conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing; conducting 8-10 physicals daily; maintaining OSHA state and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with health promotion education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases; assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Completion of a registered nursing program required
Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required
Experience: 1 plus years' experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system
Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Must be able to work on their own as no doctor will be present to assist
Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic hospital.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
