The Position
As a Sales Consultant, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact on people’s lives by providing them with pain-relieving personalized orthotic solutions.
In this role, you are responsible for driving in-store sales by acting as a trusted advisor to your customers. Each sales presentation is conducted with the care and integrity of a true partner with the aim of using demonstration to help clients discover the impact the right orthotic solution can have – essentially letting the product speak for itself.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Engage with customers to understand their specific needs and demonstrate how the right orthotic products can improve comfort, alleviate pain, and enhance mobility
- Develop a deep understanding of the orthotics product line to effectively communicate with customers
- Build strong relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, and referral sources to establish trust and generate repeat business
- Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach, follow-up, and effective closing techniques (sales training is provided)
Qualifications and Candidate Background
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and articulate the benefits of the product
- Comfort taking on a more directive “advisor” role to proactively guide customers to the right solution
- A competitive drive and proactive mindset including the ability to work independently and effectively managing time to achieve sales goals
- A genuine desire to help others, and the ability to empathize with their pain or mobility issues
