Operations/Warehouse Manager - Nights

TalentEdge has partnered with a local leader in the beverage distribution industry. We have a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager-Night Shift.

In this position you will be responsible for the supervision of all night crew employees. You will be responsible for ensuring that all trucks are loaded accurately and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for the safety compliance and the overall cleanliness of the warehouse

Responsibilities – include but not limited to:

• Performs as a night crew loader on an as need basis.
• Oversees all processes and procedures for the night crew.
• Performs nightly electronic data exchange paperwork.
• Responsible for OSHA/safety compliance.
• Promotes safety awareness with all night employees.
• Responsible for the timely and accurately loaded delivery of trucks.
• Responsible for all the personnel issues for the night staff with guidance from Human Resources and Operations Manager
• Ensures night crew achieves cases per hour and load error goals.
• Manages bonus program based on productivity and loading accuracy.
• Meets payroll goals.
• Meets breakage goals.
• Responsible for directing all clean up after the shift.
• Conduct staff meetings 1 time per month.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

• Uphold customer service philosophy and uphold company standards while executing business activities
• Strive to build and maintain the companies favorable reputation to fulfill the vision of being the “preferred supplier” with customers

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• HS diploma or GED – Required, College degree – Preferred
• Forklift & Pallet jack certification
• Supervisory skills with the ability to motivate employees
• Superior communication skills
• Supervisory experience in material handling required
• Experience within the beverage distribution industry preferred
• Must hold a valid, clean NYS driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly required to lift and stack the following:
• 1 case (21 pounds)
• 1 case (38 pounds)
• 1 case (48 pounds)
• Barrels (175 pounds) 3 feet off the ground
• Must be able to stand, continuous use of hands and arms to reach for products, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
