Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a dynamic & collaborative Azure DevOps Engineer. This is a permanent, hybrid role with our premier client. This role is open to candidates in the following locations:

• Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Des Moines, Iowa
• Chicagoland Area

This is an exciting, new opportunity with our growing client! The Azure DevOps Engineer will build and deploy application code using the Azure DevOps tool to deploy resources to the Azure cloud, working both as part of the team and individually. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying pipelines and resources throughout the software development lifecycle.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 4-6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and/or SRE (Site Reliability Engineer).
• Knowledge & hands-on Azure DevOps experience.

. Core Qualifications (Required)

• Experience with YAML in relation to code builds, deployments, and resource creation.
• Experience with Bicep, ARM, and/or Terraform templates.
• Experience with Azure Cloud resources and deploying / configuring / tuning them.
• Source code management and branching strategy knowledge and experience.
• PowerShell and Python (or other scripting knowledge). Formal development experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based application architecture and implementation.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to audiences with a wide variety of technical knowledge.
• Strong critical thinking, decision making and critical communication skills.
• Very strong troubleshooting skills towards root cause analysis and practical issue resolution.
• Ability to independently research items and make recommendations to the team.
• Excellent attention to detail. The role will support Production environments.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
