Overview:
Talent One Recruitment is seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Orange County. With minimal shop supervision, CNC Machinists will operate 5-axis CNC Mills to manufacture precision tooling and parts.
Job Type: Full-Time (Direct-Hire).
Schedule: 2nd Shift (5:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
Pay Range: $20/hr. - $30/hr. D.O.E.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC Mill with precision and efficiency.
- Adhere to engineering plans.
- Inspect machined parts to maintain quality standards.
- Perform Manual Data Input (MDIs) when necessary.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Programming, and Quality Inspection teams as needed.
- Participate in safety and organization programs.
- Fulfill any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the opposite shift through logbooks, verbal updates, and shift handovers.
- Troubleshoot quality issues.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience operating full 5-Axis CNC mills.
- Proficiency in handling Fanuc 15MB and 30i controls (Siemens 840D knowledge is a plus) or Heidenhain controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and set up machines independently.
- Experience machining Invar, Aluminum, Composite, and Graphite materials.
- Proficiency in using manual inspection equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Bore Gages.
- Capability to perform Manual Data Input (MDI) for hole patterns and radii.
- Thorough understanding of machining various materials, including spindle speed calculations, machining feed rates, and chip load.
- Familiarity with GD&T, shop mathematics (including trigonometry), and blueprint reading.
