Job Title: VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Job Scope: Seasonal May 1to mid-August (15-30 hours per week)

Coordinates with: Fair Staff

Wage: $15 per hour (DOE)

Job Duties:

· Recruit and schedule volunteers for annual fair

· Use Sign Up.com to recruit, schedule and track volunteers

· Work with all departments to determine volunteer needs

· Work with fair staff to orient, train and coordinate volunteers

· Responsible for volunteer recognition

· Work with Department Coordinators, Social Media and Executive Director to ensure volunteer efforts are maximized

· Provide routine volunteer management reports including total volunteer hours donated to TVSFA.

· End of Year Report including numbers of volunteers, volunteers hours, what worked well and what can be improved

· Must have a genuine interest in the well-being of the Fair

Work Site:

· TVSFA Fairgrounds: Totem Community Center & Summer Office

Job Qualifications:

· Excellent customer service

· Experience working with diverse groups of people

· Event planning & coordination

· Requires sense of humor, energetic personality, mature demeanor and pleasant attitude

· Ability to work comfortably with MSN 365 including Word and Excel

· Be organized and have good attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.74 - $19.12 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
