A services organization in Missouri is looking to add a new IT professional to their team as their new Desktop Support Specialist.
Responsibilities:
The Desktop Support Specialist will:
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Assist institute standard documentation and resolution procedures
- Evaluate customer satisfaction levels
- Make recommendations to senior management for improvement to the workflow based on experience and personal observations
- Support iPhone, Android, and other Smart Phones Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner
- Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and any hardware or software asset actions taken, through to final resolution
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience working in a Help Desk environment as a Technician or IT education, classes or courses complete in IT Field, Computer Science, etc.
- Knowledge of basic IT technology
- Solid background working with PC hardware and software with an emphasis on Microsoft environments
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Salary : $41,900 - $53,000
