A services company in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join their team as an HR Generalist.
Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist will:
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts according to HR Law
- Process payroll on a weekly basis
- Ensure organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policies
- Provide support to the company's Learning & Training programs
- Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Maintain employee benefits, vacation, and sick leave; maintain and organize employee data and records
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 4 years of related HR experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and/or a related field
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of Paychex
