What You'll Do:
Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking an Infrastructure Program Manager to drive IT Operations and Infrastructure program design, and shape the future of IT infrastructure deployment for a Federal customer that is moving to the Cloud. In this role, you will lead a group of experienced IT operations and infrastructure experts and partner with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to conceive of and design innovative solutions. In addition, define and drive standard and custom infrastructure deployment programs, requiring the design, build, testing and deployment of existing and new technologies.

- Manage and communicate to the COR and CO the status of all tasks and deliverables as required by the PWS
- Manage change, risks, and contractor resources and budgets
- Manage people resources (including subcontractors), including maintaining proper staffing levels, on-boarding, training, enforcing standards, mentoring and providing feedback, and communicating processes and procedures to staff
- Thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment, and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities Lead and drive IT operations and infrastructure initiatives such as moving infrastructure and services to the Cloud (Azure and AWS)
- Drive "Tech Talks" with the customer including other vendors that we interface with
- Lead and evaluate project leads and other Contractor staff
- Assess program performance and aim to maximize return on investment
- Deliver the Technical Monthly Status Report, Financial Monthly Status Report, and invoice
- Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance requirements and are delivered on schedule to the Government
- Collaborate with the Government on senior strategic planning efforts at the CIO and ACIO levels
- Coordinate interconnected projects and coordinating cross-project activities
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking or related technical discipline
- Experience planning and migrating infrastructure to the Cloud

3 to 5 years’ experience managing Federal contract requirements, program reporting to senior leaders, staffing, risk management, change management, budgeting and financial management, quality control, and service delivery, 5 of those years in a Federal
environment - 5 to 8 years’ managing people resources (including subcontractors), including maintaining proper staffing levels, on-boarding, training, enforcing standards, mentoring and providing feedback, and communicating processes and procedures to staff
- 8 to 10 years’ experience leading and managing multiple concurrent programs and projects of similar size and scope of the PWS requirements
- 10 years’ experience in strategic planning and implementation, 5 of those years in an IT operations and infrastructure environment
- Demonstrated experience with core IT infrastructure components and service concepts
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials
- PMP and/or Cloud certifications in Azure/AWS
- Knowledge of cloud-based, network engineering, data center builds, build processes, change control management and release models.
- The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior people management and analytical abilities, problem-solving, and communication skills to operate in a fast paced environment.
- Preference for candidates who possess an active Public Trust or higher clearance.
