Job Posting for Product/Program Manager at Tantus Technologies
Overview
In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Product/Program Manager to support a client in Woodlawn, MD. You will be a part of the Shared Services team supporting initiatives that span multiple Product Teams. Responsibilities will include supporting Epic and Portfolio level initiatives by coordinating information gathering and sharing between product management, the development teams, the human-centered design team, and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Drive coordination and collaboration across multiple Product Teams to include communications strategy and agile implementation.
Develop dashboards to monitor Program Epics and Portfolio Projects.
Develop other dashboards as needed to monitor Product operations.
Assist Product Teams with SAFe Agile implementation and best practices. Provide guidance for Agile Board structures to drive consistent application.
Assesses the current state of assigned projects; identifies key gaps in communications and schedule integration; and performs risk and other oversight functions, comparing those with Program-defined standards and guidelines.
Conducts project meetings with required stakeholders.
Proactively reviews integrated project plans and identifies risk areas and manages resolutions/mitigation.
Serves as a liaison between the client and the company, providing quick resolution to issues that arise.
Manages customer expectations regarding the program and related activities. Explores methods for improvement and make recommendations to company management and customers for improving and/or enhancing the program.
Must Haves
Bachelor's degree required
At least 5 years of professional experience in health-care and/or IT
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Agile space as a product owner, scrum master, business analyst
Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
Ability to develop productive working relationships with people with varying technical and business abilities, as well as experience working across integrated project teams
Excellent client and team building skills with experience in coaching and mentoring on new practices
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Nice to Haves
Agile certification with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification preferred
Experience with Project Management Tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience with technologies such as HCD highly desirable
