Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the taproom, providing exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. The general manager will work directly with the owner on a daily basis to ensure the smooth operation of our small business. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the taproom, including front desk, food and beverage ordering, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets and increase revenue
- Ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
- Oversee customer relations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory levels and negotiate contracts
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones. (including new menu options, drink selections, discounts, events and more)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the bar/restaurant industry is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in achieving financial targets and managing budgets
- Knowledge of shift management, food preparation, restaurant operations, keg/draft systems, and kitchen operations is preferred
- Proficient in using POS software systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs and stand for more than 4hrs
