About the Job
Under the supervision of the Training and Development Manager, the Senior Training Associate will provide direction and manage the development of training materials, exercises, and structured activities designed to develop exceptional operational team members and effective training programs. This position is accountable to support departmental initiatives and acts as the first point of contact for training requests, recommendation of training solutions to address identified training opportunities, collaboration with leadership to determine desired results, and creation of action plans to produce them.
The Senior Training Associate will be supporting the growth and development of our people by delivering training. To ensure success, this role will support the business by developing and delivering training content that is relevant to the knowledge and abilities needed for operational excellence and company growth across all Customer Support teams. As company expectations change or policies are created, the Senior Training Associate will play a role in ensuring that the appropriate staff members receive relevant training so they can perform according to company expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the entire online and offline TaskRabbit experience
- Stay informed of all site and policy changes as they occur and be able to articulate them accurately
- Design & create curriculum for team onboarding, new product launches, policy updates and new/updated tools.
- Support the roll out of internal programs leveraging effective communication and instructional design skills
- Assess gaps in current curriculum to evolve and improve training programs for existing and new products and programs in addition to updating and maintaining the training manual, materials, and knowledge base
- Identify and curate external training and development opportunities to assess industry standards and applicability to TaskRabbit outside the business
- Determine needs that will drive TaskRabbit support to be consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business
- Engage cross-functionally to ensure the team is prepared to support new programs and products from both a logistics and training standpoint.
- Leverage relationships with international partners, content, quality, training and collaborators in the business to inform training plan.
- Leverage vendor relationships in order to research, analyze, review and create recommendations for training and development materials.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in operations and/or customer service
- 3 years of classroom training and/or on the job training experience
- Proficiency with all G Suite products (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc)
- Experience developing materials and training modules focusing on dynamic training techniques
- Strong acumen for efficient learning design, strong planning, facilitation
- Strong training and instructional design skills for in-person, e-learning and blended learning
- Exceptional facilitation and public speaking skills for groups of all sizes
- Must be self-directed and organized with a high degree of personal accountability
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication at any level of the business.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects concurrently
- Possess a high level of demonstrated accountability, drive, and integrity
- Thrive in a feedback-rich environment and actively seeks out opportunities to improve the learning curve
