In July 2021, Tate & Lyle announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell a controlling stake in a new company, comprising of its Primary Products business in North America and Latin America and its interests in two joint ventures, to KPS Capital Partners, LP. Tate & Lyle and KPS will each own 50% of the new company with KPS having Board and operational control.

Role Purpose:
As a member of the Compensation & Benefits Team, this role will provide support to employees, managers and the broader HR Team on all benefits issues. This role will also partner closely with benefit providers and brokers to solve problems and work to ensure a competitive and efficient benefit package is available to employees of the company.
Duties:
- Serve an in house subject matter expert on plan design question and act as intermediary to benefit plan providers when questions require escalation.
- Do reconciliation of the 401k plan contributions from each payroll
- Partner with IS/IT to implement new programs or reconfigure existing plan (update annual limits per IRS guidelines, systems testing, etc.)
- Partner with Finance on month-end close
- Manage annual contributions to Supplemental Defined Contribution Plan including calculation of executive payments and annual discretionary contributions
- Partner with benefit providers on communication plans related to benefits initiatives and annual open enrollment materials
- Manage plan documentation including the notes from Benefit Plan Committee and Investment Committee including servings as Secretary of the committee
- Participate in benefit plan design reviews to ensure competitiveness of benefits package
- Manage benefit plan audits and tax filings for plans
- Partner with Broker to implement ad-hoc benefits when applicable
- Partner with HR and Compensation & Benefits team on special projects (plan/policy design)
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of Benefits, Compensation or Human Resource Generalist Experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to work with limited direction
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks
- SAP Payroll experience a plus
- Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on Excel skills preferred
