Bakery Manager

** MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL DAY WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY.

Days off would be Sunday - Tuesday.

Responsible for preparing the store and team for success on a daily basis and accomplishing required tasks in order to lead Taylor Chip to greater success long-term. The Retail Manager is responsible for directing the daily operations of a Taylor Chip Bakery & Retail location, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, bakery maintenance & repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers.

Essential Functions:

· Direct the daily operations of the bakery/retail location

· Oversee the regular operations of the business

· Ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations

· Lead by example

· Set pace and tone of shift/store.

· Managing shift leads and team members.

· Lead for baking tasks and maintaining cookie board.

· Pan, bake and decorate cookie cakes

· Enter and update cake orders on Monday app.

· Primary person in the completion of all bulk orders.

· Make coffee beverages.

· Coordinate and motivate staff to accomplish tasks and fulfill orders.

· Train new team members with 1 on 1 training

· Responsible for coordinating opening and closing procedures

· Taking dough/supply inventory and using Monday app to communicate needs to Intercourse branch.

· Work closely with Intercourse branch in order to maintain proper inventory and be informed of any inventory issues.

· Checking inventory, placing orders, and picking up as needed. (Restaurant Store and coffee supplies for example)

· Responsible for weekly schedule maintaining appropriate coverage.

· Communicating pertinent information to staff on an as needed basis

· Maintain and repair equipment if able and/or refer to appropriate repair service.

· Connect with and serve our guests with a smile, eye contact, and enthusiastic hospitality

· Create a safe, secure and healthy work environment for fellow employees.

· Problem solve any retail or baking issues that may arise.

· Steward Taylor Chip values and culture while training other team members to do the same.

· Cultivate an atmosphere of gratitude towards guests and co-workers.

· Work directly with the owners in executing business needs and ideas.

· Push Taylor Chip towards continued growth

· Basic chores such as sweep, mop, empty garbage, etc.

· Proficient at all the daily operations of Taylor Chip having to do with front of house and baking.

· Ability to handle physically demanding roles which include lifting 50 lbs and working on your feet all day

Education and Experience:

2 year Management/Leadership experience preferred

5 years solid work experience

Proven track record of training and development
