Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm *Additional hours will be required Your Responsibilities: Daily monitoring of workflow through various departments Ability to make workflow and or staffing adjustments daily to maintain existing turn times Ability to learn and work in multiple departments Direct and participate in process improvement events using a variety of tools to include Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing Track and maintain daily reports on efficiency, production, and service to our customer and internal departments Monitor inventory levels to ensure that accurate inventory quantities exist for production cycles and daily use Establish work procedures, processes, and standards that support company and department goals and objectives Implement and maintain safe work processes Ensures employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs Balance quality, productivity, cost, and safety and build a team approach with positive results Maintain a high level of morale among employees through effective leadership and communication Ensure that customer focus and service is a priority You Must Have: College degree or equivalent amount of experience preferred 2 years’ experience in production/warehouse environment Basic analytical and computer skills including; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word Effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read, analyze, interpret and create short correspondence, memos, reports and business correspondence Excellent problem solving, follow-up, decision making, and organizational skills The ability to handle multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities and ability to meet deadlines; flexibility with effective prioritization skills Desire to grow and move up/forward with the company long term Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment Ability to use extensive experience, knowledge, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and to handle unique and sometimes complex situations A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Ability to effectively respond to questions from management, marketing, customer service and employees Requirements within this position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25 pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) Taylor is proud to now offer "DailyPay".
