We are currently seeking a Residential Program Manager in Annapolis, MD for one of our valued clients, reflecting our commitment to promote opportunities that foster growth and inclusivity.
The Residential Program Manager leads day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards aligned with the Person-Centered Planning framework. They provide emergency support, supervision, and training to Residential House Managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Residential House Managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Ensure the rights and well-being of individuals, protecting them from abuse and neglect.
- Foster positive communication with supported individuals, visitors, families, and colleagues.
- Oversee staffing, addressing gaps, and ensuring necessary training.
- Periodically review residential homes, particularly those with concerns or new staff.
- Identify staff training needs and liaise with the Director of Residential Services.
- Monitor and ensure correct implementation of Person-Centered Plans, Behavior Plans, and other relevant documentation.
- Contribute to the development of individual PCPs.
- Handle emergency responsibilities and on-call duties.
- Oversee and ensure the quality of residential homes.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance review.
- Manage disciplinary procedures, ensuring performance and conduct standards.
- Attend and contribute to house meetings, staff meetings, and in-services.
- Report all quality, health, safety concerns and significant changes to the Director of Residential Services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal care for individuals.
- Ensure healthcare needs of individuals are met timely, overseeing medical documentation and plans.
- Manage household supplies and their procurement.
- Adhere to and maintain agency policies and ethical guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Program Manager I: 5-7 years in direct care, case management, or coordination, primarily in residential services.
- Program Manager II: BA/BS in a social science and 1-5 years in direct care, case management, or coordination in residential services.
- Program Manager III: BA/BS in a social science and 5-7 years in direct care, case management, or coordination in residential services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the needs of individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervision, budget management, and service delivery.
- Skilled in problem solving, project management, time management, dependability, and safe practices.
- Meet training requirements set by DDA, CMT.
- Flexible scheduling to meet
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (over 50 pounds), bending, stretching, and transferring individuals.
