Sheet Metal Fitter

Manufacturing company in Gallaway, TN is looking for a sheet metal fitter to join their team.  Hours are 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. If overtime is available, 6am to noon on Friday.

Candidate should have a basic working knowledge of metal fabrication techniques for a custom metal fabrication shop. Must have own tools, such as gloves, tape measure, hammers, welding hood, etc.

Requirements:
  • Experience required, welding and reading blueprints.
  • Cut, roll, form, and fit light to medium gauge carbon steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Tack welding with a mig welder.
  • Must be able to read shop drawings.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Assist all shop personnel as required.
