What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Specialist position at TCI?
Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking a highly motivated Program Specialist with experience supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). The Program Specialist will provide various programmatic support functions to government customers. This position is currently funded.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide program support to multiple government customers, including ad hoc programmatic activities;
- Provide meeting support, including recording minute meetings, action item and distributing via DoD SAFE;
- Conduct research and provide recommendations to government customers in support of ongoing efforts;
- Meet as required with government customers to manage tasking requirements and evolving priorities;
- Develop, update, and maintain multiple government customer databases utilizing Microsoft Excel;
- Create and maintain operational metrics as required by NUWC Customers;
- Research and interpret technical test procedures, test reports, and technical drawings to create higher level documentation in support of government customer testing requirements;
- Generate and track email correspondence.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of High school diploma or GED;
- Minimum of 1-5 years of direct or related experience required;
- Familiarity of NUWCDIVNPT and terminology is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must exhibit a high attention to detail and the ability to review documentation in an accurate and timely manner;
- Must be able to track and coordinate between multiple government customers simultaneous activities;
- Must be strongly proficient with common software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TEAMS) as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro;
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a strong team environment;
- Candidate must be detail oriented;
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects under competing deadlines.
The nature of this position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
The primary location for performance of the work will be in Middletown, RI.
