What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Success Specialist position at TDC1 Tech Data Corporation?
Drives sales revenue and profitability of Microsoft Cloud Vendor Partner lines through to increasing market share, vendor product knowledge, special projects and outbound calling. Serves as Tech Data's expert on the Vendor Partner's product line and assists with order processing, returns, price list and is an escalation point for a larger vendor team. Develops and builds a strong relationship with the Vendor Partner and Tech Data's inside and field Sales teams and the reseller community for vendors' products. Identifies ways, through projects, to increase revenue, market share and overall profitability. Owns projects from inception to completion including reporting on successes and on ways to improve.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
• Out bounding to resellers to increase Tech Data's market share.
• Handles inbound calls from internal and external customers assisting with any inquiries.
• Customer enablement through training, webinars, and vendor support to grow the frequency and yield of current resellers.
Frequency means increasing the number of orders from each reseller. Yield means increasing the average amount per order.
• Serves as an escalation resource for quick and efficient problem resolution.
• Internal and external customer service for matters including order processing, returns, vendor product information and programs.
• Team and sales training and leadership activities to improve the overall team and sales ability to help customers with vendor line.
• Special projects to Improve customer experience in the areas of usable information, order efficiencies, new markets etc.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

Education:
High School degree required
Preferred college degree or equivalent experience in sales and specifically with vendor products.
Experience:
Must have good phone, sales, and customer service skills.
Must be familiar with the vendor’s products or other technology products in a similar space.
