Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short / long-term planning for the groups they manage.
They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping / receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.
The Manufacturing Team Leader provides daily work direction and coordinates the activities of the Incoming Inspection team.
Attend daily meeting to align support needs with receiving / Shipping department. Support shipping functions and assists in training.
The role responsibility will be to manage both 1st and 2nd shifts.
Shift : 1st shift, 7am 3 : 30pm
Responsibilities :
- Inspects incoming raw materials (plastic and resin products)
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of the selected piece / product.
- Completes non-conformance reports and certificates of compliance.
- Assists with outgoing product inspections and miscellaneous projects.
- Resolve job related issues promptly in a manner that promotes harmony and aligns with the company’s objectives and goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve the business and perform other duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
What your background should look like :
- High School Diploma and two years of related work experience.
- Computer Skills : Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, ERP and other databases
- Ability to use microscope.
- Ability to use various measuring tools including, but not limited to : micrometer, caliper, tool scope, and scales.
- Use verbal and written communication to exchange information required to complete essential duties and responsibilities
- Ability to interpret dimensional requirements on drawings and specifications.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $29.50 / hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
