Iowa license to teach in grades K-8. May include special education, general education or

specialized content area, i.e. reading, math

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The focus of the Intervention Specialist is to develop a student-centered system of

intervention that effectively closes the achievement gap for identified students.

The Intervention Specialist will design and manage a classroom environment that meets

the learning needs of all students.

The Intervention Specialist is a highly qualified teacher who collaborates with special

education teachers to design and deliver specially designed instruction and intensive
interventions to identified students.
